Coronavirus Australia live updates: Health Minister on three 'key elements' needed to lift lockdown

Health Minister Greg Hunt has laid out the three key elements necessary to pulling Australia out of lockdown. Speaking to reporters this afternoon, Mr Hunt said it was “too soon to make changes” to social distancing and other restrictions and the focus now was on consolidating the containment phase and working towards “effective eradication” of the virus. “We’re currently on the road through, but at the same time we’re planning the road out,” he said. Mr Hunt said that would involve “three elements”.
