Ruby Princess and Artania dodge mass ABF orders for all cruise ships to leave Australian waters

Despite pleas to stay in Australian waters during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commonwealth has ordered 20 cruise ships to leave. Australian Border Force commissioner Michael Outram said last Saturday he advised the 20 vessels scattered around the Australian coast he had rejected all their appeals. Thirteen of the 20 cruise liners have now left or are in the process of leaving, he said.
