Titans coach backs Peachey in back row

He may want out of the NRL club but Gold Coast recruit Tyrone Peachey has been tipped to shine in the back row against the Warriors.
The Titans take on their bogey team at Cbus Super Stadium on Friday night knowing they’ve won just two of their past 17 encounters with the New Zealand-based team.
Despite reports he wants to return to Sydney just six months into a three-year contract, Peachey will start against the Warriors in the No.12 jersey.
With Keegan Hipgrave suspended and Kevin Proctor (fractured eye-socket) injured, the Titans will field an ex-Penrith duo in the back row with Peachey lining up alongside Bryce Cartwright.
Discussions over Peachey’s future are being handled by the club’s head of performance and culture Mal Meninga and the player’s management.
Brennan is keeping himself away from those talks and as far as he knows, Peachey will be staying at Robina.
“Tyrone and I are just focusing on the footy side of things and we’ll leave the rest of the stuff for Mal and his management to deal with behind the scenes,” he said.
“He’s a Titan at the moment and that’s what we’re focusing on.”
